About me!
Hi, I’m Camryn! I’m a junior studying Textiles and Apparel on the Merchandising track at The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, I am pursuing a minor in Entrepreneurship through the McCombs School of Business. I’m passionate about fashion, business, and building meaningful connections between people and brands. My unwavering passion for fashion started at a young age, when I launched a slime business in middle school, sparking my love for creativity, entrepreneurship, and bringing ideas to life.
I’ve had the opportunity to explore the industry from many different angles, whether that’s interning with sustainable fashion brands, helping customers find their style in boutique retail, or brainstorming new ways to strengthen brand loyalty through programs like Abercrombie & Fitch’s Freshman Forum. One of my proudest experiences was starting my own jewelry business in high school, amassing over 125,000 social media followers, and building a six-figure business as a 15 year old. Through these experiences, I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about design, marketing, and the power of community.
During my time at Texas, through courses like Computer-Aided Design and Strategic Brand Management, I’ve strengthened both my fashion and business knowledge, gaining the tools to merge creativity with strategy to prepare for a future in the fashion industry. I hope to be a part of the future of fashion and apply my experience in a workplace environment.
